It's a Christmas Miracle

I have wanted a Kitchenaid stand mixer for the last 4-5 years or so.  The reason I never got one is because I want the very biggest and best one they have, and the retail price is $500.  Of course, I could usually find a sale somewhere, bringing the price down to about $300.  But for the last 4-5 years, $300 has been a lot of money to me and I usually needed or wanted to spend it elsewhere.  I've been waiting for the mother of all sales. 

Yesterday DH found such a sale through fatwallet.com.  Through a creative use of in-store price matching, credit card app, coupon, cash back, and rebate, today he bought me a Kitchenaid Pro 600 6-quart for $97. He is my hero!
