We went to the local fairplex today, where they were having their annual KidFest.
First thing we did was put Libby on a pony ride. It started out ok:
But in the end, Libby decided she didn't like pony rides.
Then we went inside to the indoor petting zoo. Libby liked that better, but there were bounce houses nearby and she really wanted to play in those instead. So, Mike took her to the bounce houses while Mae stayed in the petting zoo. Mae was in heaven. She had a big grin on her face the entire time, and wasn't at all nervous around the animals. She stayed in there for probably 30 minutes.

When we finally caught up with Mike and Libby, they were in the balloon area.
And we finally wrapped up by playing with a big foam floor puzzle.
A great 2 hours spent...really, really fun.
