We went to Disneyland yesterday to finally see Small World Holiday before it goes away. (If you have sharp eyes, you will know that the photo above is actually from 2 years ago. But it's pretty much the same now.) They also had a little Santa's Village set up, with a European Santa and real reindeer! Mike took this picture which I think we should use for Christmas cards someday (if I sent Christmas cards, that is)!

The first weekend in January appears to be a very good time to visit Disneyland. There was nobody there. We could walk onto any ride we wanted to, including Splash Mountain. Well, and it had rained all day Friday so perhaps that scared people off as well. But it did not rain on Saturday, so we had a delightful time in the park basically by ourselves.
