Verdugo Hills geocache
Mike and I went geocaching today in the hills overlooking Glendale and Montrose. The cache is actually in a canyon, so it made for a kind of upside-down hike. Downhill on the way in and uphill on the way out. But it was a really nice trail because it just wasn't that popular...we were the only ones on it. Very unusual for LA. Evidently it's like that all the time. The cache was placed several months ago and we were the 4th ones to find it. Last found in September. The trailhead is in a residential area where only the richest of the filthy rich must live. Those houses/ranches/mansions were crazy amazing.
