Birthday update 3

The cruise last night was very delightful.  It was not raining, and we feasted on salmon and Yamhill Valley pinot noir.  A documentary was being filmed, so you might see me in the background on a future History Channel show.  This is definitely the off-season for the river cruise.  It gets dark so early that you can't see much on the river.  But the dinner was far from being sold out, so we were upgraded to a better table, which was really nice.  The cruise company is called Portland Spirit, and we'll definitely go out with them again (this was our 3rd time already).
