On our last day in D.C., we went to Arlington Cemetery to visit my great-uncle Rinaldo Roscoe Wood. We found that even if you know the section # and site # for the person, as I did, it is still very difficult to actually find what you're looking for. Each section is huge. And the site numbers are not exactly in order. After searching for quite some time, we nearly gave up, but then stumbled into the correct area by mistake. Here is my great-uncle and his family.
I would have left flowers or a flag, but I could not find any for sale at the cemetery. So keep that in mind, you have to plan ahead and bring your own.
