Hot White

This is like hot chocolate, without the chocolate.

1 cup milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup white chocolate pieces - try to find high quality with no trans fat

Heat the milk and vanilla in a saucepan over low heat. While it is heating, melt the white pieces in the microwave. Heat them 30 seconds at a time and stir in between. The pieces will retain their shape even though they are melting, so don't skip the stirring step.

When the white pieces are soft and gooey, add to the milk. Stir the mixture until it's blended and hot. Pour into mug and drink immediately.
