When we left the aquarium, we drove over the bridge to North Vancouver, and went to see Lynn Canyon. We had heard a lot about the Capilano Suspension Bridge, but a lovely Yahoo user posted some advice redirecting us to Lynn Canyon instead. Evidently at Capilano Park, it's packed with tourists and rather expensive, but Lynn Canyon is free and also has a suspension bridge which is even higher than Capilano. Free is good...our fellow tourists explained to us that B.C. doesn't stand for "British Columbia", but "Bring Cash". The bridge is indeed very high, and swings a bit, and so it's hard to stop and take a picture without getting dizzy. I finally gave up and let Mike take the pictures. This one is me looking over the side.
On the other side of the bridge, we hiked to a creek full of rocks. The water was so cold and clear. We walked into the creek, balancing on big rocks.
The bottom of the creek was lined with little rocks, all different colors. This is a picture of the rocks underwater. Kind of gives you an idea of how clear the water was. This was one of our favorite parts of the trip. If I go back to Vancouver I would like to spend more time in Lynn Canyon.
