Wildflowers
I love this time of year in the L.A. desert. For a few weeks, everything is green, and wildflowers of every imaginable color are blooming from cracks in sidewalks, at the bases of fences and trees on L.A. sidewalks, and along freeway on-ramps. Of particular note, in my opinion, are the southbound 5 on-ramps in Los Feliz (at Riverside Drive), and the 2-134 interchange in Eagle Rock. It's hard for me to photograph those while I'm driving, but here's some pictures I took while walking around sidewalks in my neighborhood.
