I mixed up some superfoods for allergy prevention and general health. This concoction is said to help ward off colds.
1/2 cup local raw honey (local for allergy prevention)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
I dumped it all in a glass measuring cup and then set the measuring cup in a pan of water on the stove. When it was hot I stirred it all up, then poured in a little glass jar.
It tastes good all by itself. I plan to eat a teaspoon per day. I'm afraid if I stir it into tea that I won't get all the ground spices, since they won't dissolve into the tea.
