Today is my birthday.  I nearly forgot it, as I nearly forget it every year.  But Mike remembered and so did my sister, as always.  Among other things, she got me a box of my favorite pens, which are the only pens that I will use, so I was thrilled to stock up.  I can now use my favorite pen to write in my notebook that I wrote about yesterday.

Mike and some friends are taking me on a dinner cruise on the river on Friday.  It is our 2nd time on this dinner cruise.  I'm looking forward to it.
